Exam season is near and you’re probably looking for the ideal study space for the next few weeks. While buildings on campus like HOL and CAC have a great atmosphere and plenty of space, it’s possible that you’re looking for a fresh perspective on those tattered (and tear-stained?) pages of notes. Check out a few locations below for a boost in your productivity (and some delicious snacks)!

On the corner of McGill and Summit, Reservoir Coffee is home to good eats and sweet beverages. Their big wooden tables make it an ideal meeting place for group projects. Reservoir serves breakfast and lunch, so stop by to grab a bite and get busy in the early hours of the day!

If you are a library lover – there’s good news for you! Recently renovated, the Kamloops Downtown Library has never been more ready to host students looking to get down to work in an off-campus setting. Take your study partner downtown to run through a few hundred flashcards today!

Starbucks at Chapters Indigo

Chapters Starbucks, located a short bus ride up the hill from TRU, has all your favorite drinks with the space to hook up your laptop for an afternoon study sesh! It doubles as a coffee shop and bookstore, so naturally, it is a quiet area to get some work done. Get a break and stretch your legs by strolling around Indigo. Who knows, maybe you’ll find some inspiration on the shelves!
